Discover CHEBLA Tunisian extra virgin olive oil, produced with attention to freshness, quality, traceability and authentic taste.
Premium extra virgin olive oil made from the finest Tunisian Chemlali and Chetoui olives, cold-pressed to preserve all its nutritional and organoleptic qualities. This oil features low acidity, a naturally high polyphenol content and an authentic aromatic profile suited to premium international markets.
Three things set it apart, and each one is verifiable rather than declarative:
The oil has been awarded gold medals in 2023, 2024 and 2026, in Geneva, Riyadh, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Miami and London. The full list is on Tunisian olive oil awards.
Extraction is purely mechanical and takes place below 27 °C. There is no refining, no solvent and no chemical treatment at any stage. Temperature is the reason: above that threshold the aromatic compounds and the polyphenols that carry both the taste and the shelf life begin to break down.
Olives are cleaned and prepared on arrival, crushed, then the oil is separated from the paste and clarified. Analytical and sensory control comes before bottling, never after. The chain is described step by step in how Tunisian extra virgin olive oil is made.
Two Tunisian varieties carry the range, and the choice between them is a commercial decision as much as a sensory one.
Chemlali is Tunisia's most widely planted variety and the backbone of our balanced blends. It gives a gentle, harmonious oil with notes of almond, artichoke and aromatic herbs, low bitterness and a soft finish. It suits buyers who need an oil that will not overpower a dish: retail private label, food service, and markets where a mild profile sells better than an aggressive one. See the full Chemlali page →
Chetoui is the robust, vibrant counterpart: rich in polyphenols, evoking freshly cut grass and noble pepper, with a pronounced bitterness and a peppery finish at the back of the throat. It is the variety to ask for when the buyer wants intensity, a high natural antioxidant load, or an oil that will carry a health-positioned claim on the label. See the full Chetoui page →
Both are available as single varietals or blended to a target profile, which is how a brand keeps the same taste from one season to the next. Standard product description below; lot-specific values are issued with the certificate of analysis that accompanies each shipment.
